From my personal experience, caring for seniors require a lot of knowledge and especially a big heart. Caring for them should come from your heart and be able to connect with them. I am a current student and aspiring to become a nurse. As a nursing student, I have learned the importance of caring for people. Also as a student, I have experience working with senior patients in the hospital. I help take care of them and provide support. Some of the basic skills I've learned are bed bath/showers, personal hygiene care, assisting in administration of medications, making sure they are given on time and as doctor prescribed, and assisting in transferring. Also, I have earned my CNA certification through my current school.From my personal experience, caring for seniors require a lot of knowledge and especially a big heart.
